MACEB - Thomas Shütte
Shütte never received my letter. However..

I dreamt up a scenario were I met him in Düsseldorf. The outcome is an artist book.

NOTES

Several artist books came out of my fascination and fandom activity.

I have repeatedly tried to dechiffer his way of using the brush, and he has indeed been a great influence on my early watercolour work.

There was one incident were I was invited to a dinner together with him (at my x professor Klaus Jung's apartment in Bergen - they knew each other from Düsseldorf academy). I was stoked by this opportunity but when the time to order a flight for Bergen came, I had one of my infamous "cricks in the back" and couldn't go after all.
