His work (and Name) has been of great influence, maybe even the start-of for all of this MACEB project.
NOTES
Muchas work for Sculptur. Project in Münster 1987, was a proposal about duplicating the vitrine outside Landesmuseum. A watercolor sketch shows his idea in the extensive catalogue * , and the caption is NICHT REALISIERT. This led me to the idea that realisation is not necessary for the work to be conveyed. That some artwork in fact are better if they are not realised.
Mucha also appear in the artist book where I imagine I meet Shutterfly at a cafe in Düsseldorf. He is sitting at the table, together with Shutterfly and Kasper König.
A vast number of drawings from my early ouvre has the caption Muchas Gracias together with a milkstool or a portrait of Reinhardt Mucha. It refers to Muchas work with the little stool that supports his heavy minimal sculptural objects (Muttersehenallein).
