As Ben Frija, the eminent art dealer later pointed out, I should have sent the letter with UPSpersonal Delivery to reach such a busy artist.
NOTES.
I did walk by his house in Green Street NY but never found the courage to ring the bell.
I did write a song about a curator (Karin Hellandsjø) that went to see him. In the song I state that next time she goes, I'll come with her.
